In the spring of 2023, Kela requested proposals for the archive management system as a SaaS service and Telia Arkisto, which is based on Profium Sense™  technology, won the competition. The implementation project in collaboration between Kela, Telia and Profium started in June.

The archive management system is intended for the management of analogue materials of Kela’s central archive to support the efficient performance of its core functions. General legislation and the standards and screening decisions issued by the National Archives regulate the operation of Kela’s central archive. The goal of the delivery project is to make Kela use the reliable and easy-to-use Telia Arkisto as a secure SaaS service.

Also the Finnish Transport Infrastructure Agency uses the Profium Sense™ technology based Telia archive.

Kela manages the basic security of all persons living in Finland and living abroad covered by Finnish social security in various life situations. In addition, Kela’s task is e.g. information about benefits and services, research serving the development of social security and preparing statistics and forecasts.
