Junior Software Engineer

Would you like to work in a close-knit team of 20 people developing and maintaining our own graph database product and its supporting SaaS applications?

At Profium, we solve complex technical challenges together through strong teamwork. Our Profium Sense product has a broad customer base that includes, among others, confidential defense-sector organizations, the French news agency AFP, and major Finnish institutions such as Yle and Kela.

Our technology

Our development environment includes Visual Studio Code, IntelliJ IDEA, Jenkins, and GitHub. We use automated browser testing and profiling tools. Basic knowledge in some of the following areas will give you a good start at Profium:

• Web user interface development using React/Redux
• Java and Spring
• Database and graph algorithms
• Docker containers and their orchestration
• Microservice architectures
• Distributed databases and systems

At Profium, you will also learn to leverage artificial intelligence technologies such as rule-engine–based reasoning and GenAI language models.

The salary for the position at junior level is 2,200–3,000€ depending on your stage of studies, skills, and experience. In addition, we offer a personal monthly bonus (5% of the base salary).
