Profium has become a member of the Finnish Defence and Aerospace Industries PIA ry. PIA ry is the advocacy organization for the Finnish defence, aerospace, space, and security industries, consisting of around 250 companies. The association has been active for over 30 years and organizes 80–100 events annually.
PIA’s European umbrella organization is ASD (Aerospace, Security and Defence Industries Association of Europe), which represents companies in the sector across 21 countries.
The mission of PIA ry is to strengthen the competitiveness of companies in the industry and to promote cooperation between authorities and industries in Finland and Europe. The association supports its member companies in internationalization, provides training, and creates networking opportunities that contribute to Finland’s comprehensive security.
Profium’s decision to join PIA is a natural step for a company developing software solutions that support critical infrastructure and comprehensive security. Profium’s technology integrates information from disparate sources into a single unified situational picture, enabling fast and reliable decision-making in defense organizations, government authorities, and industry alike.
